About Dani
Dani is one of us—a working mom, U.S. Navy veteran, and an independent AZ neighbor. She lives in Wittmann with her husband Phillip (Navy vet), their daughter Flora, and the family dogs Sadie & Pepper.
Petty Officer Sterbinsky served on the U.S.S. Bainbridge (a destroyer) in the Mediterranean Sea as an “Operations Specialist.” She earned her Bachelor’s in social sciences from the University of Hawaii, and a Master’s in industrial organizational psychology from Grand Canyon University.
A certified human resources expert, Dani consults with private, public, and nonprofit firms as well as serving as a volunteer on our local Personnel Appeals Board in Surprise, ensuring transparent and just decisions.
Danielle is NOT a career politician. She is campaigning for public office because Washington elites are out of touch with AZ voters. Sterbinsky is running because we need real results, transparency in government, teamwork, and a focus on people. Dani will listen to AZ, solve problems, be accountable, and represent us!
Dani has lived the struggle—worked paycheck to paycheck—and played by the rules. Like many families, after paying the bills for housing, childcare, and healthcare there is nothing left—never mind saving for retirement.

What is important
We are in a crisis of leadership, middle class Americans have been slipping through the cracks of the system while bearing the lion's share of the tax burden. I don't think this is fair, and it's time to created a detailed plan of action for the future.
Dani applies corporate-style diagnostics to root out waste, streamline processes, and demand transparency in government.

Housing Stability
Housing stability is the foundation of family stability.
When rent jumps or home prices skyrocket, everything else falls apart — savings, childcare, retirement, peace of mind.
Dani will work to:
Help first-time and first-generation homebuyers achieve ownership
Provide rental assistance to keep families and seniors housed
Expand starter, workforce, and senior housing construction
Stop corporate speculation that prices families out of their own neighborhoods
Outcome: Fewer families one rent increase away from displacement.

Making Work Pay
Working full-time should mean getting ahead — not barely surviving.
Too many families are doing everything right and still falling behind.
Dani will:
Make childcare affordable so parents can work or train
Support small businesses and local entrepreneurs
Protect gig and independent workers with portable benefits and fair policies
Incentivize job creation that hires locally and pays fairly
Outcome: Real stability for working families and small businesses.

Affordable Healthcare
Healthcare shouldn’t feel like a financial gamble.
No one should delay care because they’re scared of the bill.
Dani will:
Lower prescription drug costs
Expand mental health and preventive care
Strengthen rural clinics and telehealth access
Cut waste and middlemen that drive up costs
Offer a public option so families can choose affordable coverage
Outcome: Better care, earlier treatment, and lower long-term costs.

Education & Job Training
Education is the most reliable path to affordability.
It’s how families build stability for generations.
Dani — shaped by teachers who stepped in when her own life felt unstable — believes every child deserves that same chance.
Dani will:
Fully fund public schools
Increase teacher pay and classroom support
Expand apprenticeships, trades, and workforce training
Connect education directly to real local jobs
Ensure rural communities have equal access to opportunity
Outcome: Skills that lead to steady paychecks — without crushing debt.

Rural & Community Investment
Where you live shouldn’t determine your opportunities.
Rural communities aren’t afterthoughts — they’re the backbone of Arizona.
Dani will:
Expand broadband — the modern highway to jobs and education
Invest in rural infrastructure and development grants
Protect water resources that support families and agriculture
Partner with Native communities with respect for sovereignty
Outcome: Stronger local economies across the entire district.
